Description
Beautiful, productive and delicious! This variety was donated to the Seed Savers Exchange in 2014 by a woman whose grandfather had brought them to the US when he emigrated from Ukraine in the 1920s. We received our original seed stock in a trade with our friend Amy in Cleveland, Ohio. A very special bean!

I have yet to eat one of these, but MAN did it produce for me! Bought them from you this spring at a seed swap in Indiana, and planted just FIVE of them (I have a tiny space). Yield was about half a quart of dry beans — best out of all 23 varieties I grew this year! And the purple & white makes them pretty as well!
