Minced Garlic has a strong, sharp odor and a savory, strong, hot, slightly bitter flavor. The color is creamy-white with minimal amount of brown or green specks from the garlic skins or tops. Substitute 3/4 tsp. of minced garlic for each fresh garlic clove required by your recipe. If desired, rehydrate before using by soaking in cool water for 30 minutes. Store in a dry place to prevent clumping.
