Description
It is believed that this unique pepper was brought to the US from the Caribbean sometime in the 19th century. The variegated foliage of this plant make it and instant standout and its fruit ripens from white to green to orange and then finally to red. William Woys Weaver’s grandfather was given this seed by folk artist Horrace Pippin in 1944.
